Making Memories

Making Memories. We started our New Year’s Day by sleeping in a little. And, since we live in Russia, we had to venture outside to play in the snow. We returned home to wind up the morning time with a cup of hot chocolate. As the kids’ ages change, I always try to entertain them with age appropriate, fun things to do. So, this year we are focusing on making new memories and starting new traditions (I will post more about this later). Well, I tried baking a fruit cake for Buck this Christmas; unfortunately, it turned out a little dry. Hopefully next year it will be better. Anyway, on New Year’s Day we decided to make our very own gingerbread house. Well, I have to be honest; let’s call it our gingerbread shack. Who knows? Maybe Snow White would have found it quite quaint. Its official title is the “Little Shack in the Woods”.
