Here she is! I would like to introduce you to Olga Sergeyevna. After the church service, I asked if I could take a picture with her, because many of my friends and family are praying as she writes the Sunday school lessons on “Spiritual Gifts.”
She was so thrilled to hear that people in America were remembering her in prayer. She grabbed my hand as we took the picture. I could not help but smile as she squeezed my hand. The love I felt flowed straight to my heart.
She just finished two more lessons. My plans are to translate about a lesson a week. Please pray as I am very tired. The winter months in Russia seem to drain an individual physically, and I have been asked to do some more writing— a devotional booklet. I am being blessed by staying in His Word. Once again the Lord has opened a door for a project that is just what I need for myself. Buck has been extremely busy with work as well, and the kids are still plugging along in school. It is nine weeks testing time again and with that is much preparation.
We had another great day at church yesterday. We were actually at church all day long. A sister in the Lord approached me and asked for help with a woman’s Sunday school class, too. Of course, I said, “Yes”.
These lessons are about how women can best react in situations that affect us emotionally and psychologically. About nine years ago, I wrote a small group Bible study lesson after interviewing a Russian acquaintance on this very topic. God surely does put the pieces of a “puzzle” together. I have to tell you more about that story later. Till next time, here are some pics for you to enjoy. Thanks for your continual prayers for Olga and the English ministry at Golgotha. God is so good!
